Started in 2000 by creator Nigel Stanford to help his sister land a date (how sweet!), FindSomeone has become a great way for Kiwi singles to find their someone. She's now married with children - one of our many success stories.

After Trade Me bought us in 2001, we've continued to build our reputation as a safe space to meet other people looking for a genuine relationship. Our focus is keeping the site safe, for those wanting a genuine, lasting relationship - rather than a one-night-stand.
